Originally a dairy darm owned by the du Pont family, this 933-acre park offers Tulip Tree Woods and Freshwater Marsh nature preserves. Come to the park for the fitness trails, nature watching, and other summer and winter activities. Special events are also offered within the park.
The Brandywine Zoo is managed by Delaware State Parks with help from the Delaware Zoological Society. With everything from Siberian tigers to Florida bobcats, this zoo is sure to prove an educational experience for the whole family.
Bellevue State Park includes Bellevue Hall mansion, tennis courts, equestrian stables, a pond and gardens. Hiking, picnicking and fishing are a few of the activities at the park.
